EIF is accutely aware of the need to act in a responsible and sustainable manner.  Working in the energy industry, we recognise that achieving net zero by 2050 requires us to do things differently.  EIF's operations are fully delivered used web-based services, eliminating daily commutes for our staff and minimising our travel and environmental footprint.  We use DUG McCloud for our high-end compute; one of the world's most energy-efficient HPC systems.

EIF's services are key to delivering the dual objectives of the energy transition; maintaining energy security whilst reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide and greenhouse gasses.  Energy security comes from finding and responsibly developing new resources, whilst reducing greenhouse gasses comes through the introduction of renewable energy sources and the use of long term storage of captured carbon.
